THE DAY AFTER......MAYBE.

It looks like we have the lake back this morning! It's 9:16 and I've not seen nor heard a boat or wave runner yet. After the past several days it's seems a bit surreal. Without a doubt there will be many out there soon.

I'm sure lots of people took some vacation time this week to prolong their and our agony. When they get home next week and can barely get out of bed because of all the sore muscles and over indulged bloated body protests, with their shirts sticking to the sunburn medication as it still continues to irritate the painful burn blisters, they will all limp and drag around proclaiming to the world about the good times they had as they try to convince themselves. Hey! We've been there! Then there is this quote................when two opposite points of view are expressed with equal intensity, the truth does not necessarily lie exactly halfway between them. It is possible for one side to be simply wrong.

So more than that a really nice looking near boat-less day is still holding, for some a wait for a few hours rest after another late rousing night at the lake. Some just waiting for the big dose of caffeine to kick their false gratification desires up enough notches to go test themselves another time.

Speaking of caffeine, we gave it up about eight months ago. Bought some coffee without and pushed the other to the back of the cabinet. In thinking back I see that was about the same time I slowed on this typing stuff. I had to work hard to pull any kind of words to type but I kept struggling along. Just one week ago we found ourselves without any of the no-go coffee, so I pulled the real stuff out and made a pot. After being on it for a week I've noticed words to type have become a lot easier to come by. The content is still not that interesting, crappy and meaningless but what the heck?

Practice is supposed to make a person better in so many endeavors but I'm thinking it doesn't help me and my warped mind. Sorry about that!

To you a better day than your last best!
