Another boring time consuming note......................................So what?

This morning a sun brightly shinning on this land and the temperature at only 76 but going steadily up. That along with the 93% humidity has the makings for an interesting day.

Yesterday was another good day tho the sun came out around noon in an attempt to spoil it. That didn't work on us because we enjoyed it in spite of the boats and the humidity. Watching the NASCAR race we both dozed a little and damn it we don't take naps! It was just a small, shut of the eyes thing, that came very close to shutting down the hearing but that was opened real big when our neighbor Russell came to visit.

After he left, the race was into the last few miles and that excitement kept us awake. The end results of the race wasn't to our hopes but it was okay. We then turned off the TV and began to work on our supper. At least Glenda did. I turned on the gas grill outside then came in to check on our messages via this computer. The next thing I knew Glenda was calling me to eat. She had carried some meat down, slapped it on the preheated grill then bam it was done. IT WAS GOOD! Fat I will always be!

The guy is supposed to be here today to install a new counter top in the kitchen. Can you believe the cost of removal of the old counter was two hundred bucks? I have or am taking care of the removal and plan to get $200 or a $200 value from Glenda some way.....................Shouldn't take long.

We've had a new floor put down in the bar area. I installed two new blinds in the down area and we are waiting for a couple more to come in that had to be ordered. Matter of fact I am getting pretty tired of the whole thing!

Another guy is supposed to repaint the house, paint the rails and put a color to our decks but so far we've not seen him. I think the rain may have deterred him some. The lack of any phone calls can't be blamed on the rain, so we wonder.....What is the deal?

A great thing that hasn't passed our perception is that we're still being blessed, still alive and still have all of you in the same format.
