I've read all the mail this morning including several sites that we subscribe to searching for a topic to carry up here onto my soapbox. Something must not be clicking in my head because if I found a topic my quick as a snake mind must have ran past without taking the time to recognize it. That or because of my down in the dirt crawly snaky mind it passed so far over my head that I missed it. All this means is the same old challenge to type anything worthwhile is still as strong as ever. Despite my dirty mind the saying, " It isn't difficult to make a mountain out of a molehill, just add a little dirt." my mountain still usually comes out pretty flat or mostly downhill. But what the heck, if only one out of seven have any content then that is some kind of success. It would certainly be more than the results if I didn't make any attempt it at all. Okay, okay, one in fifteen! I still stand by my answer.
Glenda finally got her stove yesterday. Just about time too. We only have enough leftovers from the barbeque to last us another couple of days. Those ribs sure are good! I hate to see the last one go. My poor mind hung up there for a minute. You know the, 'see it go' part? What your body doesn't want to keep is sent out to special place in the yard, that brings to mind the, "dust to dust", thing and has me talking dirty again but it just reinforces the downhill slide instead of making a mountain.
"The only thing in life achieved without effort is failure." Where does that leave me after all my efforts?
Hey, "Don't smile because it's over, cry because it happened."
Thinking of the ribs again, all good things must come to an end then adding, even bad things must end sooner or later. Some later ones should have been sooner. END
