June 9

Glenda made a trip to Eldon yesterday and got a poke in the rear, the right cheek I believe. She said the nurse was gentle and there was no pain at all. She was asked to wait in the lobby for fifteen minutes before leaving. I understand they ask that of all shot recipients of anything but I don't understand. She was given a prescription for a $30 packet of 4 mg tablets of MethylPREDNISolone. Something seems to be helping her condition. A sight for sore eyes Glenda is not but a sore eyed sight she still is, tho most of the swelling has gone down she is looking somewhat better. The medicine has cramped some of my pleasures in that one of the side effects is insomnia. Her sleeplessness hurts my feelings. No feel when she's awake for darn sure!

I spent a big part of yesterday trying to get the printer to work on the computer with Windows XP. I failed but maybe today I can work it out. It had been working just fine but.....................Glenda tried to print something and wham bam thank you ma'am, no workie anymore. I finally hooked it up to the older computer. It works just fine there. I'm positive I can get it back to working here too.
So far we've just had rain without any thunder or lightning and rain remains in the forecast so it seems this day will be a good one to mess with it.

Ron has updated his blog again if anyone is interested. http://geezertimes.blogspot.com/ Believe it or not I think it has been pretty interesting.

A day past is gone forever! We're hoping you'll not waste your today!
