Not a lot to be said about yesterday other than it's gone and today has taken it's place. We're given another chance to hopefully, make good in some way for us as well as others. You know that after a day is gone it's gone for good and it's impossible to go back to change anything. That might be a good thing to keep in mind full time. A wasted day didn't stop your body from aging nor the grass from growing. Too many wasted days could find a man gone without living a huge portion of his life or so old and decrepit that he can only sit and daydream or wish about things he should have or could have done. Geez! It must have been something I read.
Today there is a trip to Jeff City on the books. Going to pick Lena up and go to a fortieth wedding anniversary celebration complete with food, music, dance and visiting with other relatives and friends. I can do the food part and visiting just fine but the thoughts of the dancing and music leave me overall, a little short of enthusiasm for the trip.
I don't know yet I fear it's true, most long for the end, so I give you it's due.......Burma Shave.
To the question of your life you are the answer, and to the problems of your life you are the solution. ~ Joe Cordare
