Well I did get a few more trees cut yesterday but I stayed away from the bees. I just can't believe that when my time comes the Lord will send it in the form of a bee. Lost two pounds too!
Glenda's Mom and Ruth met Glenda at the bowling alley yesterday then came home with her to spend the night. Lena beat Glenda in bowling two out of the three games. Lena is no spring chicken but she sure can bowl! She and Ruth will probably head back to Jeff City sometime this afternoon.
We had some rain first thing yesterday, accompanied by some big time thunder and lighting. Got almost an inch and a half in about and hour and a half then it cleared up and we enjoyed a fairly cool sunshiny day.
A Morgan County Deputy came to the house next door again yesterday. The contractors wife let him in to search the house for the contractor. I guess he wasn't there. She told Russell that the 1:00 am activity the other night was her sister picking up the baby. Funny when Glenda asked her about family during her depressing suicide speech the other day she never mentioned a sister at all, only mentioned a very, according to her, manipulative mother living in Saint Louis who tried to take her children from her at one time.
We thought they moved in a couple truck loads of household goods including two beds about four weeks ago but she keeps saying she will be out of there by this weekend. Here it is the weekend and not a thing but the baby has been moved out as far as we can tell. They might have moved some during the night but I'd think we would have noticed. She says she has got a place in Osage Beach to move to.
Before the contractor disappeared he did finish a new deck that he was building down the road for a guy. It doesn't look all that great but the guy is happy with it and paid the wife what little the contractor was owed.
I know this is probably boring to you but out here in the sticks we have got to get our excitement in anyway we can. I supposed I could go into the mowing, trimming the ivy, weed-eating and leaf blowing jobs but as exciting it is for me to be able to do those jobs I'm inclined to believe it wouldn't work to be that interesting for you.
It's true that I'm not forced to send anything and nothing probably would be more interesting but I enjoy this! It is one of the finest forms of communication in my opinion. No one to interrupt you in the middle of a sentence with a irrelevant question or begin telling you one of their past deeds before you get to finish yours.
I do have this friend that has never heard any ending to any of my tales. I mean he never has! After a few words from me he comes on with his stories, all of which I've heard nineteen times before, tho he does sometimes make a few subtle changes or mistakes it still wears me out. He is still a very nice guy. The bad part about it is he doesn't have computer but I'm working on that.
The best part finally got here! THE END!
