59 degrees, cloudy with a good breeze is the happening here and was about the same at 4:56 am except it was dark. Not too bad for a July day in Missouri. A day when long pants rather than shorts will be preferred. Of course Glenda will wear long sleeves too.
The yearly neighborhood meeting is down the street at 12:30 this afternoon. Other than that a day of rest and reading will pretty much be the course. Well, the NASCAR race will need to be strung in there somewhere. And then it could be that Glenda has a different agenda that would involve me. When I get right down to it, I must admit to myself that I don't have any idea what the day will hold. I'm not the captain of my ship. I'm not even the first mate, I'm a second mate.
My daily goal to type something in a way that it is interesting and or comical has not been attainable for a long time, maybe it never was. Whichever the case may be I'm not going to fight it anymore at this time...........
