July 3

I, without regard to sex, creed or race, committed another down and outright murder this morning. Tore the little bastard from my body and crushed it, then flushed it down the stool without the slightest pang of guilt or remorse.

It is hard to believe that a tick could still be hanging around since Wednesday but I've not been anywhere else to get one. I guess it's possible Mikey brought it to me. He takes some kind of pill and while he goes into a lot more of the possible tick sites than we do he seldom gets a tick.

I thought about taking some of his medicine but after reading the directions I'm not sure we could afford enough for my weight. His pills, for a dog weighing up to 25 pounds cost around $38 for six tablets. We give him one a month. Goodness, I would need to spend $50 or a $100 a month just for myself. I'm not sure what the cost would be because for larger heavier dogs the price goes way up.

Some people might think retired folks would be happy to get ticks, the looking and scratching giving them something to do but 'tis not so! We have sooo much to do and it doesn't look like the pile is getting any smaller either. We've always got a lot crap to do and we've done a lot of crap! We do so much that after awhile, what we've done gets to be so much we're forced to call a truck in to pump some it out and haul it away.

In order to lengthen the time between loads we try to find other frugal ways to dispose of some of the crap generated around here. I daily, try to skim a little off the top and move it on out.

What we get out of our system by sending, you can easily and at no direct cost, flush it away. A truck will never be required. Simply click delete and WALLA! you're cleaned up.

Thanks for being there!
