You know you're going to have a good say when........You wake up and mentally realize that you still are and it makes you happy. Happy is a very good way to start every day! Happiness begets happiness! A lot of folks have problems realizing they have been blessed and just take another new day for granted. That attitude seems to skip happy somewhere along the way and an ugly grump can result. Count your blessings!
Sorry, my mind has too many chores this morning and consequently gave me the false impression that today was Sunday and the keyboard and chair set at it's highest position was a pulpit. I believe I have it back under control now.
SOMEONE decided that today would be a good day to visit the Missouri State Fair. Good choice! Chance of rain, very humid and with a high forecasted for around 90 degrees ought to prove to be one of an easily remembered occasion. Memories are a necessity of life and for older folks easy ones are about all that's there. Our neighbors, Dale and Mary Jo must realize this too because they have consented to ride along. One memory times four sounds like we'll all be getting a 75% discount. In this day and age that kind of deal is hard to beat.
Sure we'll incur a cost for the day but it could save us a little money on our clothing costs. I just sold a bag of crushed cans last week and that $7.42 is burning a hole in my pocket. Even if it costs a little more than that, have you bought a pair of pants lately?
Stumbling around here for words to type, then stumbling around for the proper keys to type the stumbled up words has created a conspiracy between my meager mind and the three typing fingers. It seems they're about to shut down on me. I was able to get their consent to finish if I do it now.
