August 22

Not a whole lot of shaking going on so far this morning but I have already seen three boats pulling skiers and two bass boats. It will get going here in a bit. Yesterday we did take the boat out but it wasn't a very pleasurable outing due to the terribly rough water. One wave came over the front of the boat, over the railing, soaked the kids and left standing water on the carpet clear to the back. I think Mikey and I might have been the only two out of the bunch that didn't enjoy it. Weekends are not conducive to pleasure boating!

Today looks like one of turning up the sound on the TV and closing the blinds. We'll watch the NASCAR race and read in an attempt to erase the worry of the pounding that the boat dock will be subjected to. You know how nutty other automobile drivers are when most of them are sober, think about the same people, many about half soused, in big boats speeding around on a course without any yellow lines and the only barriers being the shore lines and your dock. Ugly picture isn't it?

Yes! We would sell this place in a heart beat! We just need to find a real wanting newbe lake person. If you see any send them over.

A conclusion is the place where you got tired of thinking and I've concluded that I'm done.
