Isn't it a wonder how a person can take a brimming cup of coffee in each hand and walk clear through a room without looking at either cup and not spill a drop? That has got to be a complicated body function by that we are hardly aware of and hardly ever give it a second thought. However, if you should stray a little too far left or right as you enter a room there is an increased possibility of trouble. The possibility caught me this morning and as my elbow hit the door jam, several drops of coffee escaped from one of the cups. There is only one person in this household that can clean to Glenda's satisfaction.
When she had to get up to clean the tiny spill I saw the points that I had accumulated over the months bringing her coffee and the many other nice things I do, dwindle down to almost nothing. How can one tiny mistake erase months of good? I've given it some thought and finally came to the realization, that happens everyday out in the world of real life. No matter how long you've driven accident free, one small mistake at the wrong time can erase a life or at least change one forever. The thing is, it could be another's tiny mistake in the other car that does it. Be wary always!
From carrying coffee to driving cars, I think everything we know runs parallel in some fashion. All in cycles. "What goes around come around" is not just a stupid saying.
Glenda is releasing her hold on the rope tied to the ring in my nose for most of the day today. She is heading out for a day with the girls. My chin has already come up two inches and she hasn't even left yet.
I've got to vote and then I'm going to shop for a tomato! Oh, to find one that is firm yet juicy, one that will make my heart speed up in anticipation. She buys them three of four at a time and won't use but one per meal which means we each only get a few bites. I want a whole one by myself! The last time she left me home alone I ate two complete large tomatoes and loved them. I also fried a couple of pork steaks, planning to eat one for lunch and the other for supper. When supper time rolled around I wasn't all that hungry and the only thing left to eat was a piece of deli ham rolled in a leaf of lettuce but that worked for me.
Stupid is as stupid does, might work for me too. I looked out the window a little after dawn this morning and the view made me think of a notebook. Many fish created spirals were visible, as the fish fed on insects or whatever. Now is that stupid?
Stupid to sent this too but dumbed if I won't.
