My goodness! Yesterday was almost my lucky day. I got around to checking my numbers. the Missouri lotto was a bust with no numbers out of the six selected but the Power Ball was only a few numbers away from the 54 million dollar pot. The first number was correct and we only needed six more to clean house. We were just a few digits off on every one.
Glenda left with the girls around 10:30 but she came back. The 49 cents per pound, second's, at the tomato place had a big selection but all except five were not worthy. I took the five. One yellow and four red, $1.27. I ate every one of them. I think they were worth their price!
I try to take a long walk most every day. I think the tomatoes will speed me up as I understand lots of tomatoes can give you the runs. It hasn't happened yet but I have my running shoes on in hopes.
I'm not kidding about the heat and humidity of yesterday. I walked up the hill and came slipping and sliding home. Unless you've been here you cannot believe the water your body can produce without you becoming very hot. I wasn't hot but I was completely wet. Some have said that I'm always wet or in over my head.
Yesterday the heat index was between 102 and 110. This morning you would get wet too, with the rain that's coming down. I may need to shut down and unplug in a little bit. We just had a lighting bolt that seemed to be pretty close.
I've already said more than I know to say anyway so I think I'll shut down and unplug.
