August 31

Foggy again but the sun does have most of it on the run. A nice 64 degrees to start what should be another one of those rare Missouri days that one can really brag about. Oh, we can brag about all of them but this might qualify as one of the latter of the three categories, good, better and best. Poor isn't a category because it is a mental mode and has nothing to do with the weather.

We're heading to Columbia here in a little bit where I may or may not have an appointment with a dermatologist. We both believe it is today and despite the on-line inquiry confirming that, there still remains a shade of doubt. I answered the phone Friday that was a call to remind me of the appointment. I've heard them so often that I didn't listen to the complete recorded message. Later, the thought came to me that they never call you two days in advance. Well in this case four days with the weekend. That is when we inquired via computer. Last evening Glenda looked again so we might have an idea where the damn place is and she discovered the appointed time that she had read was listed as an example or something like that. We're going anyway.

The visit is to check a few moles on my back that our doctor thought we might want to have checked out. I know there isn't a problem with them but I do have a tick looking thing on my neck I'd like to have removed.

A best day can be poor and a poor message can be best if it is short. This has been my attempt to qualify today's as a best.

May happiness dissipate any fog that might float into your day.
