Heading out this morning with my neighbor in his truck pulling his trailer to pick up a mini-hydraulic excavator to use in putting our wall up.
On the way back I'll get out in Jeff City and walk to Glenda's mother's house where Glenda and I will leave from, for an appointment to get our eyes checked. We've had this appointment set up for three or four months now. If I miss this one I'll not get another chance this year. I'm thinking I really don't need my eyes checked anyway, the glasses I have now work just fine and I seldom use them except sometimes driving at night or in the rain.
We got nine pallets of Omega Building Stones, (concrete blocks), off loaded along the side of our drive yesterday. 360 blocks at 60 plus pounds each, to be laid one at a time by hand. I'm kind of looking forward to it. Of course Dale will do most of the work but I will get to supply a large portion of the necessary brawn. We will most probably start in earnest tomorrow morning. I'm pretty sure we'll have a wall up in just a few days.
