I mistakenly thought that we came out here for the warmer weather. Right now the weather in Missouri sounds a bit warmer. I'm sure all of that will change soon and our goal will be realized. The TV said the temperature was 28* this morning in Boulder City but not according to my Struebbe Atomic Clock and it's outside temperature attachment. No complaints from us anyway!

Yesterday was a good day for me on the penny slots but Glenda had her problems. We visited two casino, Sam's Town and the Boulder Station. I did okay at both but the better of the two was Boulder Station. That was because they paid us to eat their buffet. Well, the buffet was free and I won so I guess it would depend on how much Glenda lost. She didn't say but she isn't one to gamble very much if things don't seem to be going her way.

Today she is heading out with her Aunt Ruby for their weekly shopping, breakfast and lunch trip in Henderson and Las Vegas. There will be several opportunities to gamble and if she takes advantage of one I'm hoping it will end on a positive. That is + in her purse when she gets finished playing.

I've things to do around here and besides, some must save so others can gamble.
