December 10

Here, a nice looking day is in progress. Sunny, with not a lot of wind yet and a forecast for a high in the upper 60's. Heck, I may not even wear a coat today. I do think I'll stick to my long sleeved shirt and long pants tho. I know that damn wind will pick up in a bit and that makes a little cool even more uncomfortable. One of the main reasons the casino's are so successful is because the constant wind finally addles your brain. You end up going into a casino to get out of the wind with your mind still on the blowing and so you do. Ah, it isn't really that bad.

No big wins yesterday at the Sunset which was our only stop of the day. Joined Ruby at bingo again but even she didn't win this time. I'm going to quit that game! I say we didn't win but the free buffet seemed like a winner at the time unfortunately the scales this morning indicated that even that was a loss. One of those 'more is a loser' kind of loss. I did a fairly long walk yesterday but still gained a pound! At least now all of the free buffet's there are over for awhile. Now as long as we can stay away from Sam's town where we have several free ones on the book, we'll be okay.

A dawning is beginning here. Our minds are beginning to realize how much all of this free stuff is costing us but the knowledge hasn't set in too hard yet which means today is another trip to Sunset for a free gift with a stop at the Fiesta for some free cash. Live and learn I guess. We're not very fast studies!

If you happened to have read this far I bid you no further ado.

"The Pentagon revealed that China launched a nuclear submarine capable of firing intercontinental ballistic missiles into the United States. In case of attack, take cover inside a Wal-Mart. China would never bomb their best customer." --Argus Hamilton
