December 13

Yesterday was a very good day..............for Glenda. She had her name called again at the Fortune for a spin at the wheel. She won $20 at that. At the other games she won too. We decided to wait for the 2:00 draw and while doing that I talked her into playing a nickel Joker Poker Machine. She promptly won $28.00 less the $5.00 she put in. Shouldn't half of that be mine?

Glenda just loves it at that place! I'm thinking she and Aunt Ruby should do the stop next weekend leaving me at home. Someone has got to stay so that others can play!

It was our 20th wedding anniversary yesterday. At least Glenda and I both remembered! I think while she was cooking our pork for supper she was a tiny bit peeved that we didn't go out to eat. I can only hope, long after my worldly departure, she will be able to see the benefits of the savings.

The only thing on our calendar for today is free cash at Sam's Town. I expect we'll make the trip to get it. No telling how much we'll turn that $5.00 into.

One day in retrospect the years of struggle will strike you as the most beautiful. ~Sigmund Freud
