December 15

Yesterday was as great as you would expect. Mikey and I did a little walking and I did a lot of reading. Mikey hasn't learned how to read yet and I think that might be why he talks so funny.

Glenda did let me down a little. I gave her my money and she came home with less than she took. She left it strung all around Henderson and maybe left a small amount in Las Vegas too.

We are on the list to receive a free (ha) photo album and some free (ha) cash at the Silverton Casino today so I expect we'll visit there for sure. Not a lot of anything else on the list. I was thinking we might play the rest of the day by ear but just as the thought struck me one of the hearing aid batteries gave out. Maybe we'll make the first stop to be at Walgreen's or someplace like that for new batteries. You can't play it by ear if you only half hear! Or could that lead you down some very new untried paths? Humm.

It certainly hasn't helped me much with my typing or content of this.........

Believe it or not but the other hearing aid battery just gave it up too.
