Yesterday a great short time with our friends. Sorry that we seemed to drag them down a bit. It was only after we parted company that John hit a Royal Flush for $250.00 on one machine then on another he hit four deuces for $200.00. This was reported to us via the phone. They didn't want to spoil their luck.
We did have time to get our calendars and chess sets. If it wasn't for the fun of the game neither would have been worth a walk across a single lane road. Luckily the trip was far enough that we were forced to drive.
The parks Christmas dinner wasn't worth a walk across the road either! By luck we happened to drive there too. As they say. "two trips in one, the first and the last." Glenda did win a door prize tho. It was a gift certificate for $10.00 at the grocery store. We're hoping to sell it for around eight bucks for gambling money.............Just kidding! We need it for tip money! A free meals does not include any tip. No big expense for me unless Aunt Ruby is around. We can't let she or Uncle Carl leave all the tip so we divvy up a share. I've saved enough when they haven't been with us to pay the whole tip but they won't let us.
I don't think there is much on our agenda for today. We'll just wait and see.
