Yippee! I walked out of the Fiesta yesterday with five extra bucks in my pocket! I felt like a true winner. To have that feeling I did need to force from my mind the terrible stop at the Monte Largo just an hour or so earlier where I lost ten dollars. I'm not very happy at all about how the Monte Largo has treated us so far this year. It's true we've only been there twice and Glenda did win twenty bucks the last trip but they took my favorite machines out and turned that little area to some kind of eating joint.
The Fortune Casino has been so mean to me so far this year that I've scratched it from my list but guess what, we're going there this morning to meet Uncle Carl and Aunt Ruby for breakfast. One of those free, 'you buy the coffee' and we'll give you two eggs, hash browns, toast and sausage or bacon. The coffee is only $1.25 so it isn't a bad deal at all. I tried to get the meal without buying the coffee last visit but refused me.
We are planning a visit to the Fiesta and the Sunset Station today also. Both places have used an offer of free cash to lure us in. Maybe, just maybe, we can use their money to prime some old machine into pouring us a out bucketful. Yeah, right! One positive way not to win anything would be not to play! Or is it that a real winner doesn't play? Life sometimes can be so confusing.
