Not a whole lot happening around here. Glenda didn't win at anything yesterday but she has vowed to correct that today. She has a no lose item on our agenda. Well, it is a give and get kind of thing. Give a little blood at the Boulder Station Casino and receive a free buffet ticket for two. Glenda has stated that if we can only use it today that I'll be the only one giving. You better believe she'll happily partake of any rewards that I might receive from my blood, sweat and tears. Maybe not the latter two but I typed them in there anyway because I think that is how some saying goes?

The stubborn drain didn't give in to all of my efforts yesterday but did finally succumb to the Liquid Plumber that Glenda brought home. All the time I wasted! Glenda says that I kind of look like a plumber from the rear when I bend over. THANKS!

This from our TV channel 8 weatherman: I'm not sure what this means, but I just saw animals lined up, two by two, moving down the Strip. The first in a series of drenchings isn't through yet. Some neighborhoods have already exceeded one inch of rain, and the rain will continue through midday Wednesday, at least. Highs will be near 50 with lows in the 40's. Another system is due in for New Year's, we're watching that one very closely.... and another one for Monday-Tuesday. You've heard of the rainforest, welcome to the rain-desert!
