Rain here this morning and I think off and on for the whole week. Makes me feel at home. I read where the high in Missouri yesterday came within a degree or two of breaking the record high for that date. Unfortunately it didn't list the temperature. The highs forecast for here today and the rest of the week are all in the lower 50's.
We didn't go anywhere yesterday.........What a nice day it was too. Looked like rain most of the day but we were too busy watching the race to notice. I did brown some more country style ribs on the grill, ($1.00 per pound), then Glenda finished them in the oven. Pretty tasty and cheap! What more could a man ask for? Also we've enough leftovers to last us another couple meals. I'm in hog heaven!
Glenda didn't watch the race as intently as I did and kept me feeling a little selfish or unnecessary as she washed clothes, ran the sweeper in every room, cooked, dusted and washed the dishes as I just sat there stupidly watching the boob tube. A couple of times I did get up to ask her if there was anything I could do. There wasn't, but my having taken the time to ask relieved my conscience somewhat.
I don't know what is on the list for today but I'm thinking stay at home again sounds awfully good.
We've been worrying about Tomi, he hadn't urinated for the past three or four days and the vet was going to get a call today but guess what....He did it last night! He was feeling his oats this morning too.
