We made the rounds again yesterday and Lost some before we won. That trend continued for several minutes then the weight column began to overcome the wins till finally the scales were once again tipped that way. I believe I can pin the reasons on any or all of three things. We got cocky, we got greedy or we just ran out of luck. I did make a substantial come back at the Fiesta which was our last stop for the day. We were pressed for time or I could have very well lost that too.
Today is only going to be a very quick stop at the Fiesta for the weeks free gift then back home tho, if Carl goes after his computer I'll ride along. It will possibly be ready sometime this morning. In the end he will still have the same computer with only windows 98 and with none of data being saved. A great opportunity to replace the old computer with a new, faster version with windows XP may sorely be missed.
Ruby is having a few folks over this afternoon for a get together, a party of sorts with foods and snacks. In part, this gathering will be to acknowledge, despite so many, many years of trials and tribulations, the success of Glenda's struggles that have finally brought her to her six .. six ....sixty....sixtieth..........SIXTIETH ........birth anniversary. That day will come to pass on Monday. Can you believe that age and still healthy? She seems to be holding up pretty well for an old lass. (lass (lăs) n. 1. A girl or young woman. 2. A sweetheart.) I had to put the definition in to lessen the chance of a beating in case Glenda didn't know the meaning. The word doesn't really sound all that nice. Anyway we are all blessed by this amazing occurrence.
