March 2, 2005

Apparently I got hung up in February. It took me two days to get out of the 28th. I didn't mind that so much as I did on missing the 1st day of March. I did finally make the transition so now I can march on.

Glenda and Ruby will be heading out of here pretty quick. Glenda is going to check first hand if the grass is really greener in Yuma than it is in Boulder City. Some folks sure makes it sound good there! Yep, the maker of all our decisions is going to check it out. I'm so thankful that Aunt Ruby will be along. At least I hope she would rather we stay here and if that is so, she will insure that Glenda gets made aware of any negatives of the place. A little bias here and a little bias there is a norm in real life. Speaking of which, Glenda certainly won't take the chance of irritating Aunt Ruby, so she will miss hearing good old Rush on the car radio.

My first march will be around 10:00 when I have got to make the 1.5 mile walk to Vons for a small bag of dog food. I can't believe I didn't notice before now that Mikey was so near out of food. I could use the car to run up to the store and haul it back before Glenda leaves but she doesn't want me to use any of her $2.13 per gallon gas. Now isn't that a kick in the asXX butt?

President Bush announced he wants Americans to have their own private personal fund. Or as John Kerry calls that, "the wife."
