For us, yesterday was a breezer that was topped off by a visit from the Krohn's. We ate breakfast at home but we did partake of the two free meals birthday meals offered to Glenda in honor of her birthday by the Fortune Casino. Man what a deal! Onion rings and Jalapeno Poppers as an appetizer, a salad then a 16oz. porterhouse steak. Afterwards, a desert of cheese cake. We brought that home along with some uneaten portions of the steaks for later consumption. At least a thirty five dollar value, all for free. So to speak............ Well, all in all it was a good day!
You know what? I never ever had a fantasy that involved a sixty year old woman nor did I ever give much thought to being married to one but here I am. For your information it isn't nearly as bad as it sounds. In fact I can't think of a place I'd rather be!
Today a quest lies waiting for Glenda and Ruby's departure for their 'girl's day out'. The Lord only knows where that will take them. As usual they haven't more than an itsy bitsy idea as to their destination but they always seem to come home joyed by the adventure.
I plan a visit with Carl, as we add a few more programs and do some more updates on his newly born and still mostly naked computer. He sure did lose a lot of stuff when the guy reinstalled windows. Well, he lost everything is the fact.
We may all be driving home in some rain. It is mostly cloudy at this time with the possibility of rain running clear through Thursday in the forecast. Makes me think so much about Missouri.
