March 27, 2005

We had problems with the dove's sitting on our porch railing and pooping on the porch. I read somewhere that WD-40 sprayed on the railing would stop them. That didn't work. I finally defeated the birds with...........duct tape of course. I tore off pieces about ten inches long, rolled them with the sticky side out and stuck them along the railing. NO MORE BIRDS!

Today Glenda's brother and his wife is flying in. They are supposed to arrive at 3:04 pm. They plan to stay until Wednesday sometime. We'll pick them up and head for the Krohn's. Ruby and Carl decided to have a little get together for all.

A little earlier at 12:30 pm Glenda's Aunt Sallie and cousin Annie will be landing at the same airport. Annie's husband Randy has been out here a little over a month trying to get on at one of the construction sites. Work in Missouri is pretty slow. Anyway he'll pick them up and probably head for the Krohn's house too.

We just got a call from Glenda's brother, their flight is running an hour and twenty minutes late. If nothing changes that should put them in here around 4:24. No step for a stepper.

"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away." -Henry David Thoreau
