One of the first things yesterday, the haircut came to pass then the library visit where I picked up four new books. After that I came home, walked Mikey through the desert for his morning message exchanging exercise and then sat down and started on one of the new books, "Alice in Jeopardy", by Ed McBain.
Around noon I headed out for Sam's Town where I met Glenda and Ruby and we played another 1:00 waste your time game of bingo. We did each get a nice $2.99 pen radio tho it cost us $7 each. After bingo the ladies went to the buffet while I headed home.
As I was walking out of the casino I was lured by several machines that allowed me to say here that both Glenda and I got our pen radios at no cost and they paid us nicely to take them. I didn't tarry long and contribute most of the winnings to that fact.
At home I heated up a couple pieces of chicken and ate them with a salad then finished the book. I would classify the book merely as okay while the meal was somewhere below that.
I'm thinking I might need to start doing this message before all of the usual morning duties. I'm sure I could put together a better bunch of words or maybe something containing a tiny tad of interest at that time. As you can read, the usual descripting phrase 'full of it', isn't even an option.
Too many detailed facts can sure be boring but I may have been influenced by something I read somewhere. Who really cares one way or another anyway?
