Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country............The quick brown fox jumped over the log or the lazy dog . Can't remember and neither can Glenda. Just limbering up my fingers for a quick note.
Yesterday morning we turned the furnace back on for awhile and then started the day wearing long sleeve shirts and long pants. Then later it was down to no shirt and shorts or in Glenda's case, short sleeves and shorts. Good old Missouri weather, cold to hot all in one day. This morning started out at 63 (short sleeves and shorts).
I see this is not going to be a very interesting note again. What a man will do just to stay in character.
Tonight Glenda has plans to drag me out to eat some kind of meal at the Lions Club that she is making the slaw for. It is a yearly fund raiser of some kind. On top of it being a pain in the rear and costing a good sum for each of us, I am not that fond of brisket! How much do I dislike brisket? I would rather eat a plain old boiled frankfurter, tho fried would be better. What we do for those we love!
