Whew, the big weekend is over. Believe it or not, but it didn't bother us too much this year. We just mostly stayed in the house away from the sound of the huge crashing waves as they jumped over our seawall. No damage that I've noticed here but the new next-door neighbor's walkway was shook loose and fell into the water. He said a guy is supposed to come today and fix it. First day in his new house and having problems already. A water leak inside has made replacing one wall a requirement but none of it seems to bother him too much. He moved here from Florida. There will probably be a big adjustment in his near future.
Dory did take a boat ride yesterday with the neighbors on their tritoon. I opted to stay home and read. I'm thinking that might constitute most of my activities for today too.
