June 19, 2005

This morning, Father's Day, we're going to the yearly, free for dad's, breakfast at the Am-Vets. As I remember, it was a pretty good meal. Of course Dory will be going too which, in the end makes it only a 'two for one'. That is still a very good deal in my book................but, we'll see how much the two for one costs before we rave too much. I think we're taking Russell along too. I'll buy his so he'll owe us one. That would be another two for one. No, if I really had to pay for all three that would make it a three for two when he reciprocated.

This evening Dory is cooking up a mess of fish and asking a couple of neighbors to join us in eating them up. There has always been a few left over so she isn't going to cook as many. Heck! I liked the left-overs spicing up my snacks. I may sneak another package out, she'll never know. Now I ask myself is it worth it? More added calories during the day and if she did notice, there would be several words from her that I would rather not hear. I guess I'll just let it be.

The people finally said that we should be able to pick the poker table up in Columbia on Monday. Did they tell us where? No! Are we going to Columbia Monday? No! We'll wait for a call, if it doesn't come by Wednesday we will begin a little checking around. Don't ever order anything from Global 1 Gaming out of PA!

"We'll eat the dainty food of chef Dory with the same pleasure with which we'd devour gross peasant dishes, mostly composed of garlic and tomatoes, or fisherman's octopus and shrimps, fried in heavily scented olive oil on a little deserted beach."-Luigi Barzini(edt)
