I would say that as our days go Glenda and I are riding them along in a troubled mode. I'm not sure if the word should be troubled or worried because they both seem to be a fit for our days at this time. We're dragging along a whole wagon load of troubled worries but like it has been said, "Don't worry about the mule just load the wagon." The doctor yesterday found at least six pretty good sized polyps hanging around in my gut. He removed them and will send them for tests. The results should be back in five days or so. If there is no concern we'll get it them in the mail otherwise a telephone call will report them. Hey! Just load the wagon!
The procedure yesterday was not a pleasant one as you might expect. A usually 20 minute procedure took a little more than an hour because of all the cutting and removing that was required. On top of that the dope they gave me to let me sleep didn't even make me drowsy. I laid there and watched the whole thing except when the air caused too much distress making my eyes shut for a second or two. I did notice that the canal wasn't near as clean this time as it was when I had the short job done. Now that I think about it that one hurt a little too.
Man you talk about farting, I was told to try to expel the air after the stuff was pulled out and I came up with one of the longest lasting farts in my memory. I bet it lasted for well over a minute. A little relief that one was!
They told me that the sleep deal doesn't work on about one out of every ten. What makes me so lucky?
Well this mule has other things to haul so I'd better get to it.
The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives and the dreams shall never die.~Edward Kennedy
