If we can get through this day as well as we got along Tuesday there is going to be a bunch of happy rolling off our bodies. Whatever we're very thankful for the lives that God has granted us so far.
We have a little tube of deadener?? that we'll rub on her leg at the old cut site so the radiation shots around that cancerous site near her knee won't be quite so painful. The radiation is supposed to drain to the lymph nodes in her groin area. The doctor uses a thing like a Geiger Counter to locate the lymph nodes. He will then take one or a few to send for tests. He is going to cut the thing on her knee out again and clean the flesh where it was. I think it may be a pretty large chunk. Anyway I think they send that stuff off also. She goes into the operating room at 10:00 and this is same day surgery so unless something comes up she will be coming home with me. They may put a drain in the knee area that isn't going to be very handy but we've got to do what we've got to do.
Thank you so very much for all your prayers!! I don't think we could have gotten the good results that we have gotten so far without them.
I'll get back to you sooner or later.
There are more tears shed over answered prayers than over unanswered prayers.~Saint Theresa of Jesus
