It didn't work out so now I'm living with a grump! Ruthie had plans for yesterday and has plans for today so I'm still driving Daisy. We did stop at Wally World but Glenda doesn't like having me around. She says I hurry her and complain too much about the dumb parents and their undisciplined children screaming, bawling and wreaking havoc in every isle. That and the thoughtless or self-centered idiots that think they're the only ones in the store so it isn't necessary to leave a path thru any of the isles.
Glenda really isn't a grump but if I'm going to continue typing a daily note I need to put a little bit more than happy into it. Just look at the news that comes out every day. To sell the station or newspapers the reporters dig around for the worst possible stories they can find to report. Killings, sadness, all kinds of strife and destruction is what it seems most folks want to read or hear about. It is very seldom you read or hear a happy story. I wonder why that is.........
Anyway another trip today is on my list. It only took twenty minutes for the treatment yesterday. Well, Glenda says the treatment is only two seconds on the top side then two seconds on the bottom and it's over. The time it takes to undo the bandage and re-do it is what takes so long. It was speedier yesterday because Glenda did both those tasks. Any quicker and I can just let her out at the door and wait in the car.
We have all been taught wrongly to believe that negative equals realistic and positive equals unrealistic.~Susan Jeffers (Edt)
