Yesterday Dale and Mary Jo took Glenda to the hospital for her treatment and I rode along. After a quick zip in and out of the treatment we stopped at a Chinese buffet place for lunch. A pretty good place to eat! All you can eat of so many dishes and the cost was only $5.95 each less a 10% senior discount. We may eat there again some time.
Coming back Dale drove us amongst forty three thousand other drivers and for about six miles the speedometer needle never got off the zero miles per hour mark tho we were moving.................somewhat. We pealed off for a visit to the Lowes store. That was a nice break. More of the same when we got back on the road but we was soon out of the thick of it. Got home in time for happy hour on the new dock of Dale and Mary Jo's.
Turned out to be just the kind of day that Glenda really likes and for that matter I enjoyed it pretty much too. Good friends can play an important part in experiencing joy. Don't forget it!
It rained a little last night so today may be a little cooler than it has been. I may even sow some oats. Nah, Glenda very quickly put the hammer to that idea so I'll try to keep my sowing to the grass seeds that Mary Jo hauled down here from their home area. After I get them sowed I'll lightly rake them in. I don't think it will take long for that rake in my hand to remove any remaining oat thoughts that may be still be hanging around in my mind.
I don't think it will take long to end this note either.
