August 19, 2005

Three cups of coffee hasn't helped the poor mind come up with a thing worth typing but I feel I must go on. Quitters never win and winners never quit. I just checked our lottery tickets and have just about decided that we must be quitters or at least about to become such. This $3.00 a week spending could be saved and used for a gallon of gasoline in the very near future. How can you hear your momma callin when you're hitchin a ride in the rain. (From a Claude King song). Our rain finally quit but the need to hitch a ride is still a strong possibility. I'm going to trim my fingernails so my thumb won't look so nasty.

I understand that Mary Jo will probably take Glenda for her treatment today. Another eat out day for Glenda. Yesterday Ruthie picked her up around 9:45 and didn't get her home till almost two. My worry sensor had been activated for almost an hour. That is the dumbest thing!

I'll have just one more cup of coffee then I'll go. Oh, I already had it.

NOT! Coffee plunges into the stomach...the mind is aroused, and ideas pour forth like the battalions of the Grand Army on the field of battle....~Honore de Balzac
