August 26, 2005

I got up this morning in a pretty good mood. I felt so good that after my shower I decided to shave with a regular razor instead of the electric one. My mood dips a little when I look into the mirror now, seeing the six tiny white pieces of toilet paper cover the six new cuts. It should have made me happier because hope begets happy and the shaving gave me another hope. I'm hoping I don't bleed to death.

We are the proud recipients of another three inches of rain Wednesday night and yesterday. The grass is loving it and reaching higher and higher in search of a little sun.

I decided to do a little weed eating and mowing today after we get back from the hospital so I put on long pants. The dawning was nice then the sun came over the hill creating a nice orange hue in the east. I was lovin it!

I made a tiny mistake and looked down at the keyboard to type a few words. That gave that tricky mother nature time to pull in a sky full of clouds hiding the sun and start up a mist. "Red in the mornin sailors take warnin", I must have been mistaken about the color of the hue earlier.

Now here I sit in the hot humidity in long pants. The sun is gone, now rain is the look. I'm going to change my pants and go read my book.

Glenda is feeling pretty good tho she won't let me check that fact out for myself. She is beginning to tire of the life we're living right now but usually on reflection she ends up pretty thankful.

Nothing ventured nothing gained....................As you can plainly read a venture doesn't guarantee a gain. I must be crazy!
