No sun yet this morning but we're expecting it to show up soon. I don't think there is any rain in the forecast. So far this morning there hasn't been a boat nor wave runner pass our dock. Not even a bass boat! I imagine they are all laying back gathering as much energy as they can. Normally this is a one of the worst weekend to live on the lake!
We made the rounds yesterday and of course paid well for our festive activities. Anytime you don't win and give even $2 to the casino you've paid well. We gave more than $2 but they pretty well let us play on their money most of the time. It was just during the end of our visit that we gave all their money back and a few bucks of our own with it. Glenda's glee to be out and about, doing something she enjoys, effectively tempered our small loss to allow me to honestly type that it was a really good outing overall. HOWEVER, the food still left a heck of a lot to be desired.
One bonus, we got to visit with Glenda's mother, aunt and uncle even tho it was a quick visit without very much interplay of words.
Today a trip to Osage Beach for a treatment then maybe a stop for a couple items at the grocery store then back home to practice hunkering down for the weekend. . . . . . . Just found out Mary Jo is going to take Glenda so I get to start my practice early today.
