September 19, 2005

The sun did pop out this morning for at least a little while. Maybe all day. High expected to be in the 90's with rain this evening. High humidity?

Glenda's last treatment is today and I think her plans have Ruthie and Mary Jo taking her then a celebration lunch at a Mexican food joint that they've all been wanting to try. I'm not sure how firm this plan is but we'll see soon.

An appointment with a couple of doctors in Columbia tomorrow and a bunch of tests just to make sure there has not been a cheater cell that slipped off and started a new colony. We're sure that is not the case making real relief just a day away. Glenda will continue to have leg problems for a couple or three weeks after today's last treatment because it will take awhile to heal of course. She went a long long time without taking very many pain pills and then when she did she would take only one. She is into them bigger time now, at least three everyday and sometimes four. She works at something all morning but about mid-afternoon she sits down for a rest in her recliner. There are times that she goes from her recliner right on to bed and her dreams.

Nobody ever said that life would be easy and we're very thankful for everyday we get including the hard ones!
