Glenda and Ruthie have plans to head for the stores today. Unfortunately the stores that they're heading to are located in Lebanon, Missouri. Not that they couldn't find whatever they might be looking for around here, it's just their conception being that things are cheaper there. I say it doesn't make too much difference. If they shop like they normally do they won't buy very much of anything anyway.
Yesterday I got the lawn mowed, the road and porches blown off and washed both vehicles so I'm thinking real hard that I'll just sit around in the air conditioned house eating roasted peas and read. I really like the roasted peas and roasted soy beans but they make gas like you wouldn't believe. It builds up so strong that a person cannot hold it nor control the expulsion. They crunch pretty loud when you eat one too. I think that crunching gets on Glenda's nerves because I can only eat them when she is away. If I should mistakenly eat some in her presence she usually ends up leaving the room and going upstairs.
The guys on TV are telling us the high here today will be in the lower 90's and with a high humidity of course. About the same of tomorrow but a little rain possibility is added. Read this!..........The high forecast for Thursday and Friday is only in the upper 50's. The possible lows stated were down to 41 degrees. WhoooooWeeeee!
