Hope the old dock makes it! With the lake being at higher level than usual the weekend jumping up down and all around is quite a bit harder on the poor thing. Right now it is sitting quietly in it's space and appears to be resting up as if preparing for next weekends onslaught. I'm not sure if most of the boaters are just happy and carefree or just plain stupid, thoughtless and don't give a shit! I'm leaning toward the latter.
A person would never think that the boaters cause extra income for the dentists but it is true of me and I'm pretty sure I'm near normal so others will be contributing also. If we live here many more years I'll be left gumming everything I eat because the constant grinding and clenching those butt hole boaters cause are wearing out my teeth. I've almost already worn out my partial plate.
I'm pretty sure I've gone far enough with this note to wear out my welcome here too.

A fine and enjoyable trip to Branson there was and the excellent show we took in added to it just fine. A trip to the Main Street Opery last night left us wanting but it had it's moments. I would say that show is on a very small budget compared to years past but what the heck, you don't know if you don't go and in the future I probably won't.
I've been saying interview for the College of the Ozarks but it wasn't, it was a tour. I believe we were all impressed and the all includes me whole heartedly. I certainly would want my grandkids to go there if they can make the grade. They receive around 3,000 applicants but can only accept around 300 of which about 10% will consist of children of past graduates. The acceptance formula is based on test scores or grade averages, can't remember which but it might even be both, financial need and maybe a few other things that I missed. Kaytlyn won't be a shoo-in but it won't be her grades that stop her.
Hopefully some visiting time today before the three, each exceptional in their own right, loves head out for home. Three very smart cookies and bias is not the editor!

By George we got all the doors installed! They were really installed by Victor but I don't recall that ever being a saying. The doors sure work better than the old ones but from a casual glance they don't look all that much different. Because of the Low-E coating, (a microscopically thin, transparent metal or metallic oxide layer on the glass) they probably appear a bit darker than the old ones. In our case the coating in three of the doors, (8 panels) is faulty. The faults are only visible in the proper conditions and with very close scrutiny. My meticulousness window washing afforded the close scrutiny and also slowed down the task to a speed that allowed several different conditions to occur. After I noticed one tiny blue streak I/we began looking them all over real well. The contractor has already ordered replacement panels and expects to have them in a couple weeks. It shouldn't take long to change them out and in the meantime we're happy with what we have.
Right now I've got to fire up this big old ass and get things cracking, the kids will be here shortly and the Branson trip will begin. I have my hearing enhancements stuck in my ears and can readily hear most all my old used joints crack depending on the movement. Without the aids it usually sounds more like a creak.

Things sure have been busy around here and in the neighborhood but we can see a slowing down with the pole barn same as finished and only a day or a day and a half left to work on the doors. Great day in the morning, we've got other things we need to do.
For instance, tomorrow we're going to Branson were the granddaughter will interview at the College of the Ozarks. Afterwards we plan to take in a show then rest up in a motel room till morning and head back to Rocky Mount. Might make it back in time for the annual neighborhood meeting at 1:00. Then come late evening we have hopes of going to the music thing in Osage Beach. Sunday may be a perfect lay around day.
Meanwhile, I've got to get tracking!

What do you know, going into my second day of being 66 and it doesn't feel a bit different than the past several years. Of course my opinion might be a bit biased and knowing that, I asked Dory to check me out for a second opinion. She declined and in the process stated how important my opinion was to me and I shouldn't want to take the chance of disintegrating that, don't know if she said possible or probable, fantasy.
The pole barn is being roofed already this morning and the door man should be here PDQ. He would have been here before now but he called and said he was going to pick up the last two windows that we needed and would be a little bit late. He has those two windows, the front door, a 6' sliding door and a 9' slider left to do. If anyone in the lake area needs door or window replacement I would highly recommend this guy, Vic Morgan, (573) 365-2331.

How much and when do you tip a door man? It depends on the door man I would think. The one we have accepts no tips but he wanted paid a third up front so he could be sure that we're committed to the project and wouldn't be sticking him with some doors that he had to order. The rest of the cost is to be paid on completion of the installation and the amount was based on the quality and quantity of doors we wanted. We'll need to go without quite a few frills for awhile, which means no more chopped ham and several other favorite foods but we'll make it somehow.
Today is starting to look better than a bit earlier. As I look out the little window I see what appears to be a struggle by mother nature as she pushes the sun trying to give birth to another day. The fog raising from the quite and still surface of the water as if trying to meet the sun part way. The stillness of the water is broken here and there as a fish makes or misses it's morning meal. I see the damn Sparrows as they jabber and prance back and forth as if flaunting their ownership of our Purple Martin bird houses and there goes a damn noisy wave runner making a terrible mess of the view.
Our door man just arrived so less deep is the plan for this small pile of nothing.

They've been talking about sleeper cells on TV and I know where a bunch of them are! Usually they lie dormant during the daylight hours but come the slightest hint of darkness, such as dusk provides, they become very active and pretty quickly overcome the awake cells. The next thing you Know my body is lying in bed, defenseless from all those sleeper cells that do their do till dawn runs them back into hiding. A really nice and relaxed feeling envelopes my body as all the sleeper cells give up their domination. I hit the floor then the coffee pot for a large cup of the stuff, which is a good way to flush out any leftover sleeper cell remnants. Wow, fresh as a Missouri morning! I feel ready to affront any of the challenges that this day might manufacture.
Dory is heading out with the girls for a 65 mile trip north of here, leaving me to guard the home front and care for the two activity limiters, Mikey and Tomi. Finishing another book and keeping check on the pole barn progress shouldn't leave me too stressed by days end. I'll probably add a few other activities so you never know for sure. I think I'm about as ready as I'll get but a bit of breakfast is next. That should provide a little extra strength if the need should un-expectantly occur.

I'm thinking I've got a slipping cog or two that keeps jumping my time ahead faster than life intended. We get up fairly early but before we can jump down, spin around, pick a bale of hay, gone somewhere slipping silently away is the whole day. Bedtime rolls around before we can even come close to computing the days results as to whether our activities were fun or not. Another decision our older age has enabled us to get by without making.
The new world that we awaken to every morning is a blessing more ways than one. Variety is the spice of life and even tho we might do the same thing today as yesterday we've forgotten yesterday, so mentally at least, a new venture is a guarantee. Happily we sloth along but where does the day so speedily go? I'm going to pay particular attention today watching for that aggravating time thief!
I've already caught one, do you know how hard it is to spell variety when things aren't clicking. There are enough words spelled so near the same as to make spell check just about useless. Then with our '1-click answers' program you still need to come fairly close. Anyway, I found it but it was a pretty much a thieving time taker and all for a plainly visible near nothing.

A bit cloudy here but it keeps the old temp down somewhat. We hear that next week the temp and humidity will again be something to reckon with. Praise the Lord that we are here and able to do the reckoning! You'ens too!
A recent study shows that older folks don’t have quite the sense of humor as younger folks. Many readers reminded us that what often passes for humor nowadays is nothing more than crass vulgarity. We couldn’t agree more. However, we may have stumbled across another reason that younger people have a “better” sense of humor: They don’t read newspapers. A report titled “Young People and News” concludes that adults age 18-30 “don’t have an ingrained news habit,” and only 16 percent of this age group read the paper every day. The correlation is clear: Years of reading The New York Times is bound to ruin your sense of humor. Then again, if younger people aren’t bright enough to develop a cleaner, wittier sense of humor, perhaps they shouldn’t be trusted with newspapers at all.~The Patriot Post

The dock is repaired and the door is leaning against one of the garage walls waiting for the contractor to install. Last we heard he hopes to begin installing all five new doors and four window glass on Monday.
That will create somewhat a problem for Tommy and an aggravation for me. The darn cat will hide and stay there even past the bedtime so I won't be able to put him in his room until after he comes out and that will be about two hours after we get sound asleep. He will join us in the bed and I'll need to wake enough to put him up then. I don't know hw many days this will go on but not many I hope.
Today in Dory's plans there is bowling with the oldies while mine are much calmer like pet sitting, checking on the pole barn progress and sitting on my duff in the cool and reading. I'M JUST LOVIN IT!
How can you older ladies avoid spotting a wrinkle every time you walk by a mirror? The next time you're in front of a mirror, take off your glasses.

Holy Toledo fat man, the very door that Dory has been wanting has been located at the Lowe's store in Columbia and has been priced to us at $105 less than the advertised price at Lowe's in Osage Beach. That savings should more than cover the cost of the trip to drive up after it. Going after it will occur early today or early tomorrow.
Meanwhile, back here in the tropical forest, we'll just laze around sweating in the swelter. It has been stated by the weather guessers, that some changing conditions might alter our local into a rain forest by mid to late afternoon with some severe possibilities. Good for some but a worry for others is the forecast for the weekend. It reads as a great couple of days for all those dock busting, boat riding, water skimming enthusiasts. Poor, poor dock owners....
Speaking of which we have at this time a dock repair barge tying up to our dock. The almost constant swiveling of our dock at the walkway connection has worn things out to a 'worry it'll fail' condition. Repair the connection, unload a little worry.
How can you increase the heart rate of your 60+ year old husband? Tell him you're pregnant.

Nada, nada much going on here this morning. I heard one of the barn builders say they may not even be on the local job today. I also detected some suppressed fury in Struebbe when he heard those words. I haven't been up there this morning so we don't know who won out yet.
Jeepers creepers it has been hot and very humid the last few days and it sounds as well as feels like another is in the offering. When you perspire your shirt wet by only standing around outside, it is hot and humid! This heavy humidity laded air is pressing so heavily on the lake surface that it has raised the lake depth by almost a tenth of a foot.
My one horse mind is playing horsy with me this morning. I can lead it to the computer but I can't make it think. Yahoo! Luck is with you this morning!

Man that Dory is a good shopper! We've been wanting a small battery operated hedge trimmer. Home Depot has a Black and Decker 6 volt DS700 Black and Decker on display but none available for sale. It was priced at $35. Found the same thing at Lowe's for $44 but they were out of stock also. Yesterday Dory ran across the very same one in Jeff City at Westlake Hardware in a real nice large bag, the deal included a small hand pruner and a pair of gloves, all for only $10. The only thing that kept me from calling her a great shopper is the fact she bought only one. At that kind of cost we could have sold dozens on e-bay and made a hefty profit. Do you think it's true that we poor folks have three or four times more daily 'I wishes' than you better off's?
Yesterdays wall project didn't begin and I don't know when it will but the pole barn erecting got under way. I mean the excavating got underway. Only about half the needed holes got augured out for the poles tho they do hope to begin erecting today sometime. Only time will tell.
That is all the good I'm sending this morning. "NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS".

Looks like it might be an awfully busy day around here. Dory is heading out to Jeff for a day with her mother and here we have two neighborhood projects that are both scheduled to start this morning. I, being the self appointed observer supervisor, will probably be kept busily on watch, for a large portion of the day. The concrete truck crashed wall is supposed to begin a comeback today as well as a barn raising of the building that Struebbe ordered some time ago. Well maybe not a barn raising per say but a large shop/shed building going up anyway.

I've read all the mail this morning including several sites that we subscribe to searching for a topic to carry up here onto my soapbox. Something must not be clicking in my head because if I found a topic my quick as a snake mind must have ran past without taking the time to recognize it. That or because of my down in the dirt crawly snaky mind, it passed so far over my head that I missed it. All this means is the same old challenge to type anything worthwhile is still as strong as ever.

Home alone I'll not be today. Yesterday Dory went off with Ruthie to Eldon to have a ball bowling with the older folks but today we're scheduled to hit Lowe's and Wal-Mart again. Thankfully this trip is being provided by the Struebbe's and with Mary Jo along we may even get a door ordered. ...Or not. Would two female minds be better than one or would that only double the confused indecisiveness?
I don't know what they are doing at Lowe's but they have a bunch of people in black shirts running around working on the inventory I think. Anyway, they keep putting things on a bunch of, reduced for sale, racks and we want to check them out again. As quick as they were adding things yesterday we may check the racks several more times than one.
One of the reduced items that I bought was a Westinghouse doorbell w/intercom and a couple of receivers for only $35. It was just what we needed. Two doorbell buttons wasn't working out too good. If we're downstairs we can't hear the doorbell so we had installed a wireless for downstairs. That is the why for the two buttons.
I guess one why is all for today. Seems that the why of trying this everyday will never be truly answered.

Shortly after I sat down here another note for naught got underway. Actually all these near daily typings are not notes of naught. At my young age and being retired I very seldom wear a watch and usually have no reason to check a calendar. That pretty well leaves me not knowing the when of anything anytime, while the what and where are always out in front of me planning my next step or venture. All those screwed up W's keep me almost in the dark about things past. I generally type a few happenings of our yesterday which helps me, while still reasonably fresh, think back at least that far . I also save all of them which enables me to read back and prompt my weak memory to a past when what and where. So now you can see that these notes really do serve a twofold purpose. I can't remember but the main purpose right now, which is they serve me well. Selfish but not sorry.
For my later benefit; we drove to Eldon yesterday for a library visit, then to Osage Beach where we made a stop at Lowes, a stop at Home Depot, one at Wal-Mart then we thought we had better use up a card Glenda had so we used it for lunch at Chili's. Afterwards we visited Meeks Lumber then headed home but not before giving Lowe's another chance to set us free from our searches.
Most, probably know how complicated a woman's mind can be and I think will agree that because it is so complicated it can cause confusion or indecision. I almost typed, 'at times can cause,' which would read like dampening down a near constant occurrence. Man oh man, after at least two weeks of searching, Dory still hasn't decided on which, for a new and affordable replacement of our front door.
'I have done that,' says my memory. 'I cannot have done that' -- says my pride, and remains adamant. At last -- memory yields.~Nietzsche

Things are cool and looking good for a tad of rain here in our part of the Ozarks. Heck, I don't even know if we are in a part of the Ozarks! I don't know what constitutes the Ozarks, the mid-west, the plain states or any of those group places they talk about on the weather channel. I suppose the first sentence hereon should have ended after the here word. At least that part is accurate. Well, accurate for me but I've learned over the years that some never quite feel the same way I do about a lot of things.
Like Dory, she waits to hear how I feel about things so she will know how she feels. Whatever my feelings on a subject might be, her feelings most always seem to be 87 to 99% the opposite.
It wasn't always like that. Brings to mind the old song "Things". (Things like a lover's vow, Things that we don't do now, Thinkin' 'bout the things we used to do.) I believe the complete song probably would fit a lot of long married older but not old, couples.
Not only should the first sentence have ended after the word here, I'm now thinking the whole thing should have ended there. Sorry about that.

Yesterday's bit of golfing was a hot one but the heat was very easily tolerated. Matter of fact the few hours we spent attempting to pick a stick which might be the best to beat a poor defenseless ball around, beating it and then after most of the beatings, hunting for it was overall pretty much an enjoyable time. What a thrill for me when on the last hole, I legitimately parred it. Actually, I made at least par on all the holes, some twice with some a little more than that before I begin to feel sorry for the ball and pocketed it. Not much more to say about that.
Not much more to say about anything this morning. "You deserve a break today" and in case you can't visit a fast food joint with arches this morning, I'll end this here.

A nice day we were having yesterday when dusk began infiltrating preparing our little nook of the world for darkness which messed with our day pretty much as it does most days about that time. It seems like the lessening of natural light allows some of the enthusiasm for the day to evaporate. As it leaves it somehow mellows a person which turns grins into yawns and strong thoughts of a fully reclined position begins to dominate. It usually doesn't take long for it to become strong enough to put your body to bed.
I've noticed as I've aged that my eyesight can be tricked into passing the message to the decider that it is dark when it is not. This can cause the decider to have me in bed quite a bit before real time dark and it happens more than I want to admit.
Today, a trip to Jeff City where Dory will have her long scheduled visit with the eye doctor, is intended. Packing our golf clubs in the trunk of the car then stopping to pick up the Struebbe's and their clubs for about nine holes after the doctor visit has been pretty well tattooed on my mind too. Sounds like an interesting ultra hot time to me. In order to keep Dory fixing my meals in the kitchen I know better than to complain about any heat or possible heat on the links.

I've noticed as I've aged that my eyesight can be tricked into passing the message to the decider that it is dark when it is not. This can cause the decider to have me in bed quite a bit before real time dark and it happens more than I want to admit.

Well, we didn't do the, get in the water trick, yesterday other than taking the regular shower. Even when you get into the lake it is advisable to shower afterwards. Don't need to be shitting around with all that sewer water drying on you. Err, I mean sitting around.
There still seems to be quite a few boats and wave runners buzzing around this morning. Must be a lot of folks taking a vacation at this time. It is so good to be retired! Trying to figure out what to do on a vacation and when to take it where are problems that we don't have anymore. Just in case you might mistakenly think our lack of vacation problems are due to the fact we have almost any of our days available, let me correct you. Being retired we have none to very little income which makes it almost impossible to go anywhere, as in a vacation.
Today we'll begin slipping in a small needed task or two that has been put off a little too long. First will be trying to figure out why the dock keeps kicking the ground fault breaker. The problem didn't really come as a surprise after watching it get the shit beat out of it for a week. Probably have some wires shook loose somewhere.
Lot of crappy talk here so far as I can read. Time for me to click the send or the delete. I feel like I've wasted too much time on this nothing to click delete. So here it comes............

The hot hot heat of the day bumfrackeled my mind yesterday deepening, widening and engorging the natural mass of stupidity that normally hangs about my person. That must be what created the lack of reasoning that caused me to put on a swimsuit, tuck a large noodle like float between my legs and get into the water. What a ride! Some very very rough water turned my ride into a wild bucking steed and me without a rope to hold on to. Made a mean bucking trip to the Struebbe's and bucked around there for a bit then bucked'er back home. I say stupid got hold of me and really bucked up my afternoon big time but I made it out alive.
Now it sounds like Dory thinks that I'm so old and senile that I'll forget yesterdays wild buckin ride and as she says it, float down there with her again today....... Probably will, you know you can never, in just a short while, completely eliminate a huge dose of stupid.

Wow, I'd forgotten how nice a leisurely putt putt along boat ride can be. I believe one of my anti-boat riding influencers is the fact that normally I can't hear squat when aboard a boat on this noisy lake, hearing amplifiers inserted or not. As a rule, it causes an alone feeling even tho I'm sitting there with a bunch of other folks. Usually this is the typical mode for me anywhere there is a gathering where I'm included. It is certainly not a very happy situation that I can walk away from in most instances but on a boat I'm trapped with it! The thing is yesterday on the boat ride with interesting and enjoyable friends, my problems were only a third of the usual, which increased my pleasure by 67% or more. With three others aboard, I had problems hearing only one.
Dory, who sat closest to me was the problem to hear. I don't really mean hear when I say that, I can hear but the sounds aren't strong enough to carry the words through the ear cannel to my decipher. Anyway we talked about that problem this morning. I accused her of only whispering or talking in an almost soundless tone to me but she denied it. On the boat, she says, because she was a little behind me and the motor being a bit behind her, that was the culprit. I'm telling you, the boat is not the only place I have that problem with her. Personally, I think my deficient hearing is one of the major players that she is using to wipe that silly grin permanently off my face and slip me down deeper into the subordinate level that she has already stuck me pretty deeply into.
Tho it was a very enjoyable outing taking the fine meal of the night past out of the equation would still leave us knowing we had a wonderful time that we wouldn't trade for anything, with an old real friend and a new friend!

Up, up and away in my little balloon was what ran through my mind as I caught my reflection in the mirror this morning. I was up and dressed when I looked into the mirror. The fuzzy view I caught, being fuzzed by the late night out and my normal twisted mind, had my blue t-shirt that covered my upper rounded torso looking a lot like a big blue balloon. So there you go and now you know.
Our friend Dave B. and his friend from Wisconsin came for a visit and took us out to eat, I mean really eat! We went to Michael's Steak Chalet in Osage Beach. Studying the menu with it's huge pricey, pricey selections had my mind blinking off and on, more off than on, till Dave reassured me again that the fine diner was on him so I was finally able to take the first step and order. Tho, I ordered with my eyes closed I opened them wide to eat. What a big chunk of meat the regular cut char-broiled strip steak was! I cannot believe I could not eat the whole thing.... Anyway, we brought the leftovers home and I think it may take three meals to finish them off. Thinking about it brings the typical scrunched up smile to my face. It was good things like that over the years that contributed greatly to some of the happy wrinkles of my face as some also contributed to the full roundness of my torso.
All the excitement of the visit, the eating and visiting kept us all up pretty late, at least four hours after my bed time, but it was worth every minute and hasn't interfered with my morning at all.
A little time on the Tritoon with a few cooling dips in the water is a sure plan for today.

What'cha gonna do when the well runs dry, you gonna run away and hide. But big stupid here keeps priming the old empty hole hoping maybe a tiny little bit of worthy thoughts to type might be pumped up. As I realize again that it's failing, I attempt to grasp a positive out of the failed effort. Only thing I've been able to come up with is the possibility that all the priming and pumping might keep the old hole pretty clean and free of nasty sick thought debris that has a tendency to fall into any unguarded available opening. When the pump gets tired I'll try doing some manual stuff that can fill up most of the empty while aligning needed procedure for the task.
Say now! In my defense, before you tally your judgment sheet on my mental state, I might admit to some affliction of stupid but crazy I'm not! The possibility that my oversized body is using a lot of the nutrients or whatever which may be leaving the mind a little short of it's requirements might contribute to the stupid but it's not near enough shortage to do me mentally ill! Oh these lazy hazy crazy days of summer.

I'm not much of a cold cereal eater but this morning I awakened with a strange hankering for some Rice Krispies. Since arising I've given that a lot of thought and the only thing I can see is the possibility that my, trying to sleep subconscious mind, was unduly influenced by the constant snap, crackle and pops of last night that started getting constant just at bedtime and continued into the wee hours of the morning. Some must have had very slow fuses because we're still hearing some sporadic bursts this morning.
Say, if boats are "holes in the water, into which you throw money," what in the world would you call fireworks? It's like lighting your money with fire and hoping for a spectacular burn of it in the sky which sadly always ends up leaving you with nothing but a burned smell and a lighter wallet. A wad of money that ascends high and burns as it flies. Humm...
Our plans for the day include a meal at a friends house and then some card playing. Lucky me! I'll be the only male in the group of five and Glenda will be several years the youngest female. Whoop-tee-do!
And a good 4th to the lot of you!
Q: Where can women over the age of 60+ find young, sexy men, who are interested in them? A: Try a bookstore under fiction.

Never a dull day around here but every so often there is added something a little more spicy than usual. Like yesterday Dory decided that she wanted to spray a bit of deck wash on the steps leading from the lower porch to the front door level. I was asked to get a sprayer out so she could accomplish this. First thing was to move a car out of the way, get a step ladder down and set up, step up it and then bring down a sprayer that is stored in the garage rafters. Next I checked it out only to discover that it didn't work. Thankfully I hadn't put the ladder up nor moved the car back in yet so I only had to move the ladder to a different area and bring down a different sprayer. I carried it down to the water source to discover that it worked fine but the line was crimped. Back to the garage for repairs.
Later, while I was busy observing a septic procedure next door, Dory loaded the sprayer up without my knowledge and began spraying. I returned learned from my schooling and began my pruning with our 20' pruning tool noticing that Dory wasn't about but continued on with my important task unabated. After awhile she came out of the house and said "Larry" in a soft way that
stood the hair up on the back of my neck. I turned to look at her standing there and saw the left side of her face was red and her holding a washrag over here left eye. She softly continued, "I've had an accident". You can't imagine how quickly happy can leave a person so absolutely leaving nothing but weak in it's place.
I'm kinda like you and tired of this story telling so I'll try to cut it short..... The hose busted on the sprayer sending Armor All Deck Wash containing Sodium Hypochlorite almost everywhere including into her left eye. By the time she came to me she had already flushed it out and was taking care of it however she could but it was still burning. A call to the eye doctor assured us she had taken the proper precautions and only if she woke today with problems would we need to go in. Tho she couldn't see anything but a blur out of it last night this morning it seems to be fine.
And how was your day?

The sun, finally regaining it's prominence, made the scene here this morning with a passion. Sending those angry rays pouring down so revengefully that they're creating somewhat of a breeze. The sun, the breeze and the lack of water fixated thrill seekers so far, could make for a good day here.
The date being 7.2.7, I hope it doesn't turn out to be Boeing. It'll never happen! There still seems to be plenty of attainable emotions and fiery wants in these old bodies that keep us able to participate and wade out as deep as we want to, in the good life and happenings that surround us. The intensity may have lessened somewhat but not even near close enough to leave us in a bored state.
Keep the old shoulder mounted controller working a little every so often is a good idea. An extended period of idleness could carbon up and foul the plugs creating a miss in the firing of the head honcho's fine tuned impulses. This could leave you with duh duh huh as the most used words in your vocabulary.
Me, moving the cursor to the little place marked send and making a tiny click, is about the easiest way there is to get off the old soap box. I won't mention that a quick click on your delete button with your cursor located there-in would accomplish the same goal but a lot faster.

Just walkin in the rain, gettin soaking wet.............Not really, tho we are going out in it but we'll be driving. Going to Jeff for a visit with Lena and maybe as she suggested a buffet lunch and the Chinese Dragon or whatever the name of the place is.
With the really good nasty weather the lake has been pretty quite but not totally. When you have such a huge investment such as a boat and then get a couple days off you don't let a little rain stop you. The few that find something else to wile away their time off will be putting big frowns and bad humor in the clerks at the mall while the business owners sit in the back counting their blessings or whatever they may be calling the greatly increased influx of shopping dollars. Oh what a world we live in!

I wondered why the baseball was getting bigger. Then it hit me. We have only received 4.3 inches of rain so far since Friday but it is still coming down. It makes for some very good guilt free reading weather. I'll do a bit of that today and I may try to figure out how to put a short homemade film clip on line. The dead batteries were given out free of charge. Then again I may go out to the garage and muddle around as in clean the place up some. Whatever, it won't be hard to find something to 'float your boat' with all this rain we're getting.
It just hit me that I'm pretty much free of charge this morning and the five cups of coffee didn't crank'er up at all. I know the needle on my smart gauge doesn't swing very far to the right anytime but sitting here looking stupidly at the computer monitor doesn't seem to be one of the happier things I could be doing. It is so sad to recognize dumb when you discover it's origination is ones self.
