Things are cool and looking good for a tad of rain here in our part of the Ozarks. Heck, I don't even know if we are in a part of the Ozarks! I don't know what constitutes the Ozarks, the mid-west, the plain states or any of those group places they talk about on the weather channel. I suppose the first sentence hereon should have ended after the here word. At least that part is accurate. Well, accurate for me but I've learned over the years that some never quite feel the same way I do about a lot of things.
Like Dory, she waits to hear how I feel about things so she will know how she feels. Whatever my feelings on a subject might be, her feelings most always seem to be 87 to 99% the opposite.
It wasn't always like that. Brings to mind the old song "Things". (Things like a lover's vow, Things that we don't do now, Thinkin' 'bout the things we used to do.) I believe the complete song probably would fit a lot of long married older but not old, couples.
Not only should the first sentence have ended after the word here, I'm now thinking the whole thing should have ended there. Sorry about that.
“Al Gore’s son was pulled over by police on the San Diego Freeway Tuesday with marijuana, Valium, Xanax and Vicodin on him. The kid never had a chance. He got hooked on downers at an early age listening to his father read him bedtime stories.” —Argus Hamilton
