Dory is of course busy again today. She has a shoulder/arm therapy treatment first thing and Ruthie is riding along. Afterwards, Osage Beach look out! I suppose that should be, credit card look out, because I'm pretty sure it will get abused somehow while in Osage Beach.
Meanwhile back here in the jungle I'm just sitting around waiting. Not waiting for old age because it already found me a few years back. I'm not really waiting for the Grim Reaper either tho I know he'll be around one of these days to whack my life away with that scary looking scythe he carries. Scratch the, 'one of these days'. I rather hope it will be one of what ever you'd call a day way, way out there in the future. Gee whiz, I've got a few more notes to type and a few more books to read.
No, today I'm waiting an Eldon sawyer who told me yesterday that he would come cart our diseased tree away in carry sized pieces. So far no show. The big thing I'm waiting for that keeps me squirreling around in my seat in anticipation is for Dory's return. I requested a few ribs from Bandana's and she consented to bring them. Yummy yummy, it'll make me fat but what a nice load for my tummy. Maybe I can get a job as a Santa in one of the stores. If I'm not careful I'll not have enough room left of my lap for a kid to sit on.
It's the niceties that make the difference fate gives us the hand, and we play the cards. ~Arthur Schopenhauer
