Sad but typical for the area, our tree remover guy and his crew failed to appear yesterday and I guess his cell phone's battery is out of charge too because he didn't bother to call either. Maybe today?

Dory did bring me a few scrumptious ribs with some of Bandana's great sauce. Scrumptious in my memory only. I didn't get right down to eating them tho I had gone without lunch in anticipation of the delicious treat. It didn't take but a few bites for disappointment, beginning at the mouth, to ooze up into my mind. The things were tough! Not near what I remembered from a prior visit. Thank goodness for my partial plate! Tho some extra effort was still required, after tearing a bite off the bone I believe it assisited me immensly in chewing the meat up into a swallowable chunk. I ended up believing that the six anticipating hours had been somewhat more joyous than the actual meal. Probably won't be hankering for any more of those for awhile.

As far as watching the news goes..... I doubt we will ever enjoy those occasions but if all the news programs would stop telling us about all that they plan to tell us later, we could get all the news we want in about a third of the time. After all that time spent telling us what they are going to tell us, they barely have time to tell us what they had said at least ten times before, that they were going to tell us .
