Wow, the air is so thick you can see it! Can't see very far but..........oh, it's only fog. Tho the word is, up to 9 inches of snow before ending sometime tomorrow evening. It isn't expected to begin till after midnight. The word usually means all the way from a skift of snow to 12 inches of the stuff. Most of the word sayers are experienced and do well most of the time but in the end I think it usually it comes down to shouting and hollering shit.
I think I'll put a tarp down to cover the front stoop and maybe the walkway. That way I can just pull it off with the snow and won't need to shovel any until I get to the seven steps to the driveway. Well heck, if I could cover the steps I wouldn't really need to shovel at all......developing...
A last time out for the weekend for Glenda if things go as said. She'll pick Ruthie up for a trip to Eldon where they will each pick up a few stockable items in case we get hung here for an extended period of time. My, my I shouldn't forget their visit at the old folks gathering at the bowling alley. By the way Dory won a little over $60 yesterday.
She is going to need to do better than that! The purchase of an inside unit and an outside unit is the only way we can shut the very expensive emergency heat back to normal due to a locked up compressor we're told. I'm sick enough to puke as I wonder where we're going to get the quoted $4200 for both the units installed. The guy is quoting the Gibson brand. Not that we don't trust him but we need to check them and the price out right away. Need to let him know as soon as possible.
