Not a tap more to type than I did yesterday which was none. It must be some kind of a sickness because I can't seem to make myself stop trying for very long. I do try to add an interesting quote at the end because I believe it's true, "all is well that ends well."
Yesterday I messed with a Polaroid camera that Lena got as a gift at the boat. Spent quite awhile trying to figure the thing out well enough to show her. I think I can show her how to take pictures okay and maybe how to hook up to the TV for viewing. What I really think is I can show Dory well enough that she can show her mom. I don't know if it has something to do with doctors or sitting around in the waiting rooms but my being patient comes up fairly short every so often.
Also yesterday I was in the wash room on the computer when Tomi, sitting at the door looking out, began to make a funny noise why down deep. I've heard him growl before but this was different. I finally got up to see what was and discovered a mature bald eagle in the tree beside the house. What a huge and beautiful bird. Majestic is a good descriptive word. Tried to take some pictures but none turned out worthy. When He flew off you should have seen the ducks and seagulls scatter.
Going to Jefferson City this afternoon. Stop by to pick Lena up then across town we'll go to Bob and Sandy's. I sure hope that I can keep from overeating for once.
Tomorrow is a stay at home day. No presents but I suppose the two of us will sit around the Christmas tree and sing carols as we contemplate the reason for the season. A break now and then for some good old turkey and dressing will be a must. By the way, I don't think I know any carols completely, plus I can't sing. Maybe a CD will suffice.
May these ancient words be fulfilled this year and every year: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men" (Luke 2:14).
