Got a right good looking day now after a stuttering start. Early it was a nasty cloudy view out the window with a 28 degree temperature riding along. But since, the big sun whipped out most all of the clouds and has raised the temperature some with the brightness suggesting a promise of more. Not bad at all for this time of the year. Bad weather missed us again.
I have been asked to accompany the beach over to the beach........I mean Dory over to Osage Beach sometime today. It was asked in a pretty sincere way, enough that I've pretty well decided to do it. She wants some of the shrimp that she saw advertised somewhere, 8 fried shrimp $5.50. Puckers my butt a little to think about it. You can see that with tax she's talking around 70 cents per bite! Maybe if you take smaller bites the cost per would come down but I've never seen a two bite scrimp. I may just get a hamburger. They are about the same price and it takes a lot more than eight bites to finish most of them. Maybe not the double cheese burger at McDonalds but it costs only a dollar.
Ruthie is in Yuma at her winter home and I sure do miss her! Why, if she was here she would go with Dory in a heartbeat and they would probably bring a hamburger home for me. I wouldn't be forced to see that waste of money shelled out. Too, I'm thinking of changing Hunky to Fatcheapas
