December 9

Rein it in, rein it in! The rain, the rain, is what I'm talking about! Wasted typed words but it's kinda silly to send a blank page. Kinda silly to send what I do but I've been pretty silly all my life and in my earlier years it gave me some nice alone time. In school, sent to stand in the hall and at home a quick switching and sent to sit in my room but I endured all that and kinda remember enjoying it some. That is all past now and I see no reason in the world to stop now.

Just this morning I was singing "Beep beep. Beep! Beep! Beep beep. Beep! Beep! His horn went beep beep beep. Now we’re doing a hundred and twenty - As fast as I could go." You know the song, I got to going real fast like the song, just entertaining Dory and myself. Then she says, "Hunky, you're like a little kid". Being 66 years old, I think that compliment would be listed second only to being required to show some identification when purchasing adult beverages at a liquor or grocery store.

Another plus was that Dory showed her amazing ability of restraint and didn't utter a single negative word about my singing ability nor my lack of it either. It could be that she just got hung up on the little kid part, I don't know.

Around 1:27 am the lightning and the resulting booming thunder got me up and down the stairs to unplug the computers. So as it goes it is still raining here at a good lick and some of it has adhered a frosty colored coating to the trees and deck banisters but it's not too bad yet. The mini icicles hanging there are kinda cute and not long enough as to start the old worry program yet. I'm sure the rain is coating some other things but the trees and banisters are the most readily visible. Doesn't look like the road is icy, at least that I can see. This I know for I was watching from the window up above. Maybe I'll get a little picture for you when and if the rain lets up, tho it may all be melted by then...we hope.
