What, another day here already? Seems to be, for the sun has joined the gentle breeze out of the north and made it so. Here in our protected place, we can never be sure from which direction the wind comes, but the bottom of the windsock on the dock does drift somewhat to the south....which means nothing more than there is a breeze. The temperature indicator on the wall says it is 23 degrees, outside at this time. That is up from 18* that our day began at. The forecast says temperatures above freezing today with more warm coming. Shoot, I think I heard a possibility of 60* come Monday. Somehow I knew this information would be welcomed by you. That, instead of a sorrowful tale of woe would be my choice too.
Good for me I'm not woeful, good for you I don't have a tale either. I'll either haft to sign off or make up something to wag.
I know that too much of nothing is apt to create a state of disinterest and I have certainly been putting too much of it in these notes. My plan now is to shorten them up with hopes that a few, almost readers, will quit skipping directly to the quote at the bottom. Actually, I can't see that it will make a bit of difference to me one way or another but I still want to proclaim that nothing will be a lot less in future notes from here.
Talk happiness. The world is sad enough without your woe.~Orison Sweet Marden
