Finally found the ombrometer yesterday morning and put it out during a lull in the rain. Have no idea how much precipitation we received prior to that, but since it has accumulated 2.2 inches of the stuff. It's still raining and the forecast tells us that, in this area it will probably keep doing some large drops of dew all day. Do what you dew, dew well mother. Some like it and some don't, either way I guess you could say, it's what floats your boat.
We have one of those, 'come join us and enjoy a free meal at the spiffy Ruthie D's restaurant on Horseshoe Bend to attend this evening. All we are asked to do for payment, is show up and sit through one of those teaching lesson/sales pitch that will show us 'How to recession proof our retirement and protect our nest egg from Uncle Sam' type presentation.
With the cost of gasoline it won't be a free ride. Our fuel cost will run us right at $5.60 round trip but.....we won't need to leave a tip. We do want to attend and keep the presenter happy with us so we might be invited again some day. To get attendies, I expect that down the road they will need to add a free gasoline chit into the sucking enticement and we wouldn't want to miss out on any of those.
