Glenda says we're bound for a little trip to town, Eldon that is, home of the most worn out bowling alley in use today. Of course that is our main destination. It's just that the folks that run it are so nice and I mean that. They always serve us a huge plate of cookies and give us free coffee. I think they provide that so as to give us something sweet to do while we sit around waiting for one alley or the other to be repaired so we can continue. Oh, did I mention that the special old folks Friday price of only $1.25 per game? They really can't be making a lot of money there.
Watching and hearing them on TV, I don't care which one of the three, McCain, Clinton or Obama becomes our president, we're in for a very terrible next four years! How did we idiots ever end up with those three choices? Of course half or two thirds of what they say they're going to do will never come to pass but the wonder of what will come to pass is a strong worry maker. I will go as far to say that if you yourself is not a little bit worried, you're sorrowfully disconnected from reality! That or you are a very young person or very immature person.
"There are. intangible realities which float near us, formless and without words; realities which no one has thought out, and which are excluded for lack of interpreters or the refusal to listen." - Natalie Clifford Barney
